We like historical objects and this month feature an unusual item. We are showing a carved rosewood and silver wheelbarrow that was made for the commencement ceremony for the construction of the Madras Railroad in India in 1853. Besides being utilitarian and historical, it's beautiful and masterly carved and designed.

Post Road Gallery is Westchester County's finest antique shop and art gallery. We have operated on the same block in Larchmont since 1952.
